Conditions.
In these conditions:
‘you’ refers to the conference participant, ‘we’ refers to Português Claro and Clarity, the conference organizers, and ‘conference’ refers to the conference Clarity2010, which will take place in Lisbon on 12-14 October 2010.
Payment
You may only attend the conference if you have paid in full.
We will not accept offline payments after 1 September 2010. After this date, all payments must be made online when you book.
Cancellation and transfer
If you want to cancel your ticket:
Before 1 September 2010: you will receive a full refund, except for a handling fee of €50
Between 1 and 30 September 2010: a refund is not possible but you may transfer your ticket to another delegate
After 30 September 2010: no refunds or transfers are possible.
Alteration or cancellation of the event
In certain circumstance we may need to alter the conference program, venues or speakers. We will not refund or offer discounts on your tickets if this happens.
You accept that we are organizing this conference as a not-for-profit service and, though we will use our best efforts to make it successful, we will not be liable if events beyond our control force us to cancel it. If this happens, we will refund that proportion of each participant’s registration fee that remains after we have paid the organization costs for which we remain liable.
Data protection
We will only use your details for purposes of the Clarity2010 conference. We will not pass them on to anyone else.
Video and photography
There will be videos and photographs taken at the event and the presentations. We may post excerpts on our website for public viewing.
Disclaimer
We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage to property or personal injury incurred by you while attending the conference.
